The Orange County Pick-Up Hash usually meets on Sundays at 10:00 am or on Thursdays at 6:30 pm at various locations in and around Orange County.  When the wankers with the Long Beach Hash switch to Sundays, the OCPUH3 is on Thursdays, and vice-versa.  We're a considerate, caring, and thoughtful bunch of r*nners, oh yeah.

This hash is modeled after the San Diego Pick-Up Hash, may piece be unto them.  The "rules" are simple... there are very few.  Here's how it USUALLY works:

• Meet at designated place at designated time.
• Bring a 6-pack of beer (decent stuff, pleez) and a snack to share.
• The hare is chosen by lottery:  everyone writes their name on a piece of paper, an impartial Justice of the Supreme Court and/or Bush Family Member picks one, and that person is given 10 lbs of flour, a piece of chalk, and 5 minutes to escape.
• Hare snares can and do regularly occur.  Whoever snares the hare takes over laying trail, keeping in mind that the whole thing should last under an hour and end up back at Point A.
• Down-downs and intermingling of 6-packs occur, usually followed by an On~On~On at one of the finer neighborhood establishments.
